Danke an alle Spender die Spendensumme von 10.000,-Euro wurde an dass Dalai Lama Institut für höhere Bildung übergeben.

Im August wurde uns ein ausführlicher Brief mit Bildern über die Fortschritte unseres Spendenprojekts in Indien Bangalore zugesandt. Wir danken nochmals allen Spendern, die sich an diesem Projekt beteiligt haben, und freuen uns, dass wir Euch mit diesem Brief und den Bildern am Gedeihen des Schulzentrums in Indien teilhaben lassen können.

CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS REPORT

Project Location: Bangalore-Mysore Road
Hejjala Post, Ramanagar Distt.
Bangalore Rural - 561 109
(KARNATAKA STATE)
Project report for the PHASE – I consist for the following blocks.
The construction work is making good progress at this time and we are very happy to report
here developments so far in PHASE I work of the project:
1. Class room, staff room with seminar hall and administrative block
2. Girls Hostel
3. Staff Quarter
4. Community Center
5. Visiting Professor Hostel
A brief description of the work status of each block is as below:
1. Classroom Block:
·  RCC frame structure is completed for both sides of the classroom wing
·  Entire internal plastering work is completed for both sides of the classroom wing
·  External plastering work and vitrified tile flooring work is under progress for one
wing
·  RCC frame structure for the Staff Block (central wing) is completed up to third floor
except roof truss work of seminar hall
·  Painting work is under progress
Over all 80% total work has been completed.

2. Girls’ Hostel ‘A’ Block:
·  RCC frame structure is completed
·  Entire finishing work of rooms inside and outside is completed with bathrooms
·  Stone cladding work is completed
·  Plastering work for side rooms and the wash area is under progress
Over all 98% total work has been completed.

3. Girls Hostel ‘B’ Block:
·  RCC frame structure is completed
·  Internal plastering work is completed except bathrooms
·  Entire flooring work, external plastering, painting and plumbing work are under
progress
Over all 78% total work has been completed.


4. Staff Quarters:
·  RCC frame structure with plastering work, stone cladding work, sanitary, sewerage
and electrical works are completed
·  All the 16 staff quarters are completed
·  External land development with drawing system are completed

·  Kota stone polishing work is in progress
Overall 99.5% of the total works are completed.


5. Community Center:
·  Foundation and slab work are completed up to first floor level
·  Concrete block masonry is under progress on the first floor
·  Ground floor roof truss work, flooring, plastering, plumbing and painting work of the
dinning area are completed
Over all 78% of the total work is completed.

 

6. Visiting Professors’ Block:
·  RCC frame structure is completed
·  Internal and external plastering work is under progress
·  Plumbing work is under progress
Over all 75% of the total work is completed.

 


External Development:
·  Construction of 3 nos. of check dams have been completed and 4 is under progress
·  Landscaping work including grass and tree plantation are under progress
·  Leveling of playground is under progress (90% completed)
·  Grass plantation and area development around the community center is under
progress

Conclusion:
With firm conviction that the college will play a vital role in providing a meaningful
